đŸ„”Extreme Heat Notifications for Training

2 Feb by Jessica Brookens

Due to the likelihood of extreme heat temperatures expected for tomorrow (37 degrees), training at Kent Park Primary and Scoresby Secondary College will be cancelled

We are adopting KBI’s heat rules that come into play at 32 degrees on court and 36 degrees on court means games are cancelled altogether.

Conditions for Tuesday will need to be monitored by coaches, however, if the weather exceeds 36 degrees near to when training commences, it will need to be called off.

Should your team choose to meet up for some “Team Time” instead at a pool or air conditioned space, that is more than fine.

All teams training at Carrington Park Leisure Centre will go ahead as normal, with the facility having air conditioning and fans. Can coaches please ensure that air cons and fans are all turned off when closing up the gym.

Team Managers: Please pass on notifications to your teams
