2026 Committee Updates and contacts

Good afternoon Falcons Family,



Forgive the delay in this update but with the Summer Season rapidly coming to a close and the Winter Season Registration now open, I wanted to ensure everyone was aware of the 2026 committee changes that occurred as result of our AGM at the end of last year.



Our invaluable Secretary Jessica Brookens stepped down to concentrate on her role as the Knox Junior Raiders chairperson on the Knox Basketball Board. Thank you Jess for everything and we wish you all the best in the new role. No doubt you will make Raiders stronger as you did with Falcons.



Steve Cusworth stepped down from General Committee due to personal commitments but remains on Sub Committee as the Under 8 Coordinator (Boys and Girls).

Rob Di Nezza also stepped down from General Committee to concentrate on personal commitments.



At the AGM we had Keith Baker step up to take on the Vice President Role and all other committee members returned. Unfortunately we did not have any nominations for Secretary meaning we will now have to hold a Special General Meeting to elect our Secretary. Fortunately, I am delighted to announce within days of the AGM, Craig MYERS volunteered to step into the role as Interim Secretary and will take on the role once formally elected at the special General Meeting which will be held on Monday the 20th of April 2026 (full details to come).

Don’t forget – Winter Registration close Sunday the 1st of March 2026.

Fees this coming season are:

- $225 per player for U8 to U16

- $175 per player for U19 and U23

but don’t forget, and please note that late registrations will only be considered under extenuating circumstances, if places remain in suitable teams, and will incur a $50 late fee.



After this date (1st of March 2026), the following registration fees will apply:

- $275 (U8–U16)

- $225 (U19 & U23)
